CHAPTER 282.
AN ACT to release George W. Kennerly, a minor,
of Wicomico County.

WHEREAS, George W. Kennerly, a minor, has
purchased a farm in Wicomico County, and desires
to take a deed for the same, and to secure the pay-
ment of the balance of the purchase money by ex-
ecuting a mortgage to the grantor of the deed ; and
whereas, the said George W. Kennerly is not yet
a man, capable of conveying a title to real estate,
in consequence of his non-age, and the said George
W. Kennerly desires the General Assembly to pass
an Act enabling him to execute a deed of mort-
gage, so that he may be able to receive a title to
the property which he has purchased by receiving
a deed therefor.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That from and after the passage of
this Act, that George W. Kennerly shall be an-
swerable for all liabilities, debts and contracts,
made and entered into by him, and may sue and
be sued, as fully as if he was a man of full age,
and that all deeds and other instruments of wri-
ting made and executed by him, shall be as good
and binding in law as if he was a man of full age.
