Sec. 36. There shall be four terms of the Circuit Court for Somerset County in each year commen- cing at Princess Anne on the second Monday of the months of January, April, July and October.	Terms.
Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect from the date of its passage. Approved March 28, 1868.	In force.
CHAPTER 243. AN ACT to repeal Sections twenty-eight and twenty-nine, of Article fifty-six, of the Code of Public General Laws, and re-enact the same with amendments so as to read as follows :
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That Sections twenty-eight and twenty-nine, of Article fifty-six, of the Code of Public General Laws, be and the same are hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to read as follows :	Repealed and re-enacted.
Sec. 28. Any agent or agents of foreign insur- ance companies doing business or proposing to do business in this State shall pay for his or their li- cense to the Comptroller of the Treasury the sum of four hundred dollars annually for each and every company represented by him or them, but before the Comptroller shall issue said license he shall require a statement under oath of the true finan-	License.
cial condition of the office or offices proposed to be represented by him or them and for which he or they may make application for license, and the Comptroller shall also require as a condition pre- cedent to issuing of said license the exhibition of authority from the parent office or offices to settle losses without the interference of the officer or officers of the said parent office or offices. Sec. 29. No person shall act as such insurance agent without complying fully and entirely with the provisions of Section twenty-eight of this Act,	Penalty.
