Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 225.

AN ACT to repeal the Act of eighteen hundred
and sixty-four, (1864,) Chapter four hundred
and five, relating to the establishment of a uni-
form system of contracting for Public Printing.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Act of eighteen hundred
and sixty-four, (1864,) Chapter four hundred
and five, entitled "An Act to establish a uni-
form system of contracting for printing all such
matter pertaining to and for the use of the Leg-
islature of the State of Maryland, and for Con-
stitutional State Convention," which authorises
and requires the Comptroller of the Treasury to
contract for the Public Printing, be, and the same
is hereby repealed.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
go into operation and take effect from the day of its
passage.
