Repealed and
re-enacted.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the nineteenth
Section of said Act, to which this is a Supplement,
be repealed and re-enacted, so as to read as fol-
lows :

Subscription.
|
Sec. 19. That the County Commissioners for
Frederick County be, and they are hereby author-
ized and empowered, to subscribe for as many
shares in the capital stock of said Company as in
their judgment they may deem advisable, pro-
vided said appropriation be made in pursuance of
Section fifty-four of Article three, of the Consti-
tution.

Toll-gates.
|
Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That the said Com-
pany be, and they are hereby authorized and em-
powered to erect as many toll-gates on said road
as they may deem advisable, and the said toll-gates
from time to time, to change and alter, as the
Company may deem advisable, provided that no
greater toll per mile be charged and taken than is
now allowed by law.

Repealed.
|
Sec. 4. And be it enacted. That the following
paragraphs of Section thirteen, of the Act to which
this is a Supplement, provided ; that no toll-gate
shall be erected within one mile from the taxable
limits of Liberty Town or Village, through which
said road may pass, be, and the same is, hereby
repealed.

Election.
|
Sec. 5. And be it enacted, That all elections for
Managers of said Company shall be held on the
first Monday of November in each and every year.

Not to charge
funerals.
|
Sec. 6. And be it enacted, That this Company
shall not be authorized to charge tolls on any ve-
hicles passing over this road for the purpose of
going to or from a funeral.

I n force.
|
Sec. 7. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the day of its passage.
