Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill for the protection of railroad employees.

On motion of Mr. Coudy,

Leave was granted to the Washington county delegation
to report a bill to compel the Commissioners of Washington
county to pay clerks of Registers for 1865, 1866 and 1867.

On motion of Mr. Seibert,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
report a bill to incorporate the Mutual Horse Thief Detective
and Live Stock Insurance Company of Washington county.

On motion of Mr. Dutrow,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to intro-
duce a bill to pay William Ebberts, of Frederick, his per
diem as Messenger during the session of the Legislature of.
1861, which the Comptroller refuses to pay.

On motion of Mr. Markland,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to-
introduce a bill to authorize the Howard Bank of the city of
Baltimore to cancel and extinguish capital stock owned and
held by said bank.

On motion of Mr. Jones,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to-
introduce a bill to repeal section 100, Article 30, of the Code-
of Public General Laws, and to re-enact the same with
amendments.

On motion of Mr. Hall,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to in-
troduce a hill to incorporate the Hook and Ladder Company
of the town of Oakland, in Allegany county.

On motion of Mr. Markland,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to in-
troduce a bill to incorporate the Consolidated Real Estate and
Fire Insurance Company of Baltimore.

On motion of Mr. Brown,

Leave was granted to the Harford delegation to report
a bill authorizing the County Commissioners of Harfordi
county, to pay an annual pension to Columbus Scarborough..

On motion of Mr. Syester.

Leave was granted to the Committee on Agriculture to in-
troduce a bill to protect consignors of grain, flour, tobacco
and other produce.
