Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the County
Commissioners of Baltimore County be and they
are hereby directed to pay to the Clerk of the Cir-
cuit Court for Baltimore County, whatever sum or
sums of money may be found to be due him under
the preceding Section upon the receipt of the cer-
tificate provided for in the preceding Section.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That from and after
the passage of this Act it shall be the duty of
said Clerk to enter in said general index all judg-
ments thereafter obtained on the day on which
said judgment are rendered, for which service he
shall be allowed the same compensation as is now
allowed for similar services, to be paid for by the
parties to the suit, respectively, as other costs are
now paid.

Sec. 4. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 130.
AN ACT entitled "A Supplement to an Act to
incorporate the Merchants' and Miners' Trans-
portation Company," passed in April, eighteen
hundred and fifty-two.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the capital stock of the Mer-
chants' and Miners' Transportation Company may
be increased from three hundred thousand dollars,
its present amount, to six hundred thousand dol-
lars, by new subscription or by adding to the
capital of the said Company of three hundred
thousand dollars semi-annually a portion of the
net profits of the said Company not otherwise ap-
propriated, whenever it shall be so determined by
the President and Directors of the said Company.
