forty-eight, entitled an Act to provide for the re-
payment out of the storage and outage on tobacco,
of moneys heretofore demanded and received by
the Inspectors of Tobacco, in violation of the Acts
of eighteen hundred and sixty-four, Chapter three
hundred and forty-six, and eighteen hundred and
sixty-five, Chapter one hundred and ninety-four,
be and the same is hereby repealed.

In force.

Sec. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act
shall take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 129.

AN ACT to facilitate the examination of titles to
land in Baltimore County, by authorizing the
Clerk of the Circuit Court for Baltimore County
to make out general indexes to the law and
equity dockets in his office, and to provide for
paying for the same.

SECTION 1. Se it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Clerk of the Circuit Court
for Baltimore County be and he is hereby autho-
rized and required to make out in a fair and legible
handwriting, general indexes to the law and
equity dockets, in his office, from the beginning of
said dockets to the passage of this Act, and shall
be allowed therefor the same compensation as is
now allowed by law for making general indexes to
the land records of the County, to be paid for by
the County Commissioners for Baltimore County,
on the certificate of the Chief Judge of the Third
Judicial Circuit, or that of the Associate Judge of
said Circuit residing in Baltimore County, that
said work and labor has been properly performed.
