stipulation that the contractors shall receive the
bonds of Queen Anne's County, to be issued under
the provisions of Chapter three hundred and six-
teen of the Acts of the General Asssembly of
Maryland, passed at January Session, eighteen
hundred and sixty-seven, as cash, at a fraction
over ninety cents in the dollar ;

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Comptroller and Treasurer
be, and they are hereby authorized and required,
when ascertaining the amount which may at any
time have been paid upon the subscriptions to the
Capital Stock of the Queen Anne's and Kent
Railroad Company by other subscribers thereto
than the State of Maryland, according to the pro-
visions of Section one of Chapter three hundred
three of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland, passed at the January Session, eight-
een hundred and sixty, to estimate the bonds of
Queen Anne's County, delivered to and in pos-
session of the Queen Anne's and Kent Railroad
Company, or by said Company paid to the con-
tractors for the construction of said Railroad, as
cash, at the rate of ninety cents in the dollar on
the par value of said bonds.

Capital stock.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the day of its passage.
