of the Act hereby repealed, be and the same are
hereby fully reinstated in office as before the pas-
sage of the said Act hereby repealed.

In force.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from and after the first dav of May.

CHAPTER 59.

AN ACT to amend the Charter of the Baltimore
Fell's Point Hebrew Friendship Congregation.

Repealed.

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Alary Land, That section two, of the Act of
eighteen hundred and forty-six, Chapter fifty-
three, entitled an Act to Incorporate the Balti-
more Fell's Point Hebrew Friendship Congrega-
tion, in the city of Baltimore, be and the same is
hereby repealed, and that in lieu thereof the fol-
lowing is hereby substituted :

Hold property

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the saisl Corpo-
ration shall be capable in law to have, take, receive
and hold property, real and personal, and the same
to dispose of at pleasure ; provided, always, that
the said Corporation shall not at any time hold or
possess property, real, personal or mixed, exceed-
ing in value the sum of seventy-five thousand dol-
lars.

Additin.

Sec. 3. And be, it enacted, That the following
sections be and the same are hereby added to and
made a part of the Charter of the said Corporation,
aiter section third in original Act of incorporation,
and in lieu of section four, which is hereby re-
pealed.

Liable for
debts.

Sec. 4. And be it enacted, That the burial lots
in said Cemetery shall not be liable for debts of
the lot holders, and the grounds declared exclu-
sively as a Cemetery or burial place, shall not be
subject to taxation of any kind.
