Sec. 5. And be it enacfed, That any person who
shall wilfully destroy, mutilate, deface, injure or
remove any tomb, monument or grave-stone, or
ether structure placed in said Cemetery, or any
wall, fence or other enclosure, railing, or work for
protection or ornament, erected or set up in said
Cemetery, or shall wilfully cut, destroy or break.
or remove any tree, shrub or plant within the lim-
its within the said Cemetery shall be considered
guilty of misdemeanor, and on conviction before
any Justice of the Peace of the State, may be pun-
ished by fine, at the discretion of the said Justice,
hot exceeding five dollars.

CHAPTER 60.
AN ACT to enable Thomas Gemmell to hold
lands and dispose of the game.
|

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Thomas Gemmell, late of the
city of Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland, Great
Britain, may take and hold lands, tenements, and
hereditaments acquired by purchase or to which he
would he entitled by descent, and may take and
hold, sell and dispose of the same as effectual to
all intents and purposes as though he had com-
plied with Article four, Section one and nine in-
clusive of the Code of Public General Laws of
Maryland,

take effect from the date of its passage,
