necessarily absent to-day.

Which was adopted.

On motion of Mr. Loker,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Agriculture to report
a hill to prevent the spread of the disease called "glanders."

On motion of Mr. Jones,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill to repeal section 25 of Article V of the Code of
Public General Laws, entitled Appeals, and to re-enact the
same with amendments.

Also,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill to repeal section 30, Articles, of the Code of
Public General Laws as amended by the Act of 1864, chapter
322, and to re-enact the same with amendments.

On motion of Mr. Robb,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Oysters to intro-
duce a bill to provide tor the management and maintenance
of the ice boat built by the joint aid of the State of Maryland
and the city of Baltimore, and to repeal the Act of 1867,
chapter 243.

On motion of Mr. Pentland,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to repeal section No. 872 of Article 4 of the
Code of Public Local Laws, relating to the city of Baltimore,
and to re-enact the same with amendments,
