Mr. Biddison submitted the following order :

Ordered, That it be entered on the Journal, that John B.
Blake and Mr. Poteet, are absent on business for this House.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Sudler submitted the following order :

Ordered, That Mr. Legg be allowed leave of absence for
two days.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Richards submitted the following order :

Ordered, That a committee of three be appointed by the
Chair, whose duty it shall be to supervise and regulate the
distribution among the members, of the public documents
which have been or may be ordered by this House.

Which was adopted, and Messrs. Richards, Herbert and
Smith, of Baltimore city, constituted said committee.

Mr. Dutrow submitted the following order :

Ordered, That Geo. M. Taylor, Jr., telegraph operator in
folders' room, be appointed assistant folder with the duties
of keeping tally of all printing matter corning from the printer,
and have charge of the distribution to each member his share
of all printed matter from folders' room, also to assist the
folders in the discharge of their duties.

Which was read.

Mr. Pentland moved to lay the order on the table.
The question being upon concurring in the motion,
