assessed on the books of aaid office, and hath paid
a certain sum of money for county and school
taxes to the said Commissioners on the property so
aa aforesaid assessed ; therefore,

Levy and pay

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the County Commissioners for
Anne Arundel county be and they are hereby au-
thorized to levy and pay to Samuel Redgraves, of
said county, the amount or sums of money over-
paid by him for county and school taxes, that shall
appear by the books of their office to have been
erroneously paid by him on account of said taxes.

In force.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Bill shall
take effect from the date of the passage thereof.

Chapter ninety-six, entitled 'An Act to incor-
porate the Liberty and New Windsor Turnpike
Road Company in Frederick and Carroll coun-
ties.' "

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Corporation known by the

name and style of the Liberty and New Windsor
Turnpike Road Company, in Frederick and Car-
roll Counties, created by an Act of the General As-
sembly of Maryland, of eighteen hundred and
sixty-four, Chapter ninety-six, of which this Act
is supplement, for making a turnpike to be con-
structed between Libertytown, in Frederick
County, to New Windsor, in Carroll County, be
and the same is hereby authorized and empowered
to extend said turnpike road eastwardly from New
Windsor, in Carroll County, through Wakefield,
to intersect with the Uniontown and Westminster
Turnpike Road in Carroll County, at or near the
