Also,

The petition of Stephen Grimes, and 7 other citizens
of Baltimore county, praying the passage of an Act to con-
tinue the present school system in force till July 15, 1868.

Also,

The petition of William Stansbury, Patrick Lynch, and
43 other citizens of Baltimore county, praying the passage
of an Act to continue the present school system in force till
July 15, 1868.

Which were severally read and referred to the Committee
on Education.

Mr. Silver presented the petition of Win. Wiles, Wm. T.
Mackinson, and 17 other citizens of Harford county, praying
the passage of an Act changing the law regulating the re-
pairs of roads in said county.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Roads
and Highways.

Mr. Latrobe presented the petition of Geo. J. Appold,
President of the Merchants and Miners Transportation Com-
pany, asking for an increase of capital stock.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Corpo-
rations.

Mr. Holmes presented the petition of John Jenkins, Pat-
rick Dunnigan, and 76 other citizens of Baltimore county,
praying the passage of an Act to continue the present school
system in force tmtil July 15, 1868.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Edu-
cation.

Mr. Bowlus presented the petition of sundry citizens of
Frederick county, praying that Article 11, section 323, of
the Code, be so amended as to allow additional bounty for
killing foxes.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Agri-
culture.

Mr. Hopkins presented the petition of George W. Adams
and 50 other citizens of Wicomico county, praying the pas-
sage of a law granting a stay on executions for twelvemonths
from the Passage thereof.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on the Ju-
diciary.
