An Act to compensate Charles J. M. Gwinn, William P.
Maulsby and Bernard Carter, Commissionners appointed by
the Governor to prepare drafts of laws pursuant to the provi-
sions of the 48th section of the 3d Article of the Constitution
of this State.

An Act to protect the navigation of the Patuxent River.

An Act to provide a summary remedy against Sheriffs, for
making false returns to any writ of fieri focias, or other
execution, by adding a new section to Article 88, of the Code
of Public General Laws, title Sheriffs.

A Supplement to an Act entitled an Act to incorporate the
Baltimore Smelting and Mining Company, passed at Decem-
ber session, 1844.

An Act to repeal section 3, of Article 33, of the Code of
Public General Laws, relating to indigent blind, and
re-enact the same with amendments.

An Act to authorize the County Commissioners of Queen
Anne's County, to levy a sum of money, or issue bonds for
repairing and altering the Court House in said county.

An Act to authorize Tench Tilghman, his heirs and
assigns, to erect a bridge across the head waters of Town
Creek, at Oxford, in Talbot county.

An Act to pay the School Commissioners of Howard
county $6,400, for the purposes of organizing a High School.

An Act to add to the 11th section of Article 56, of the
Code of Public General Laws, a sub-section requiring a
license to enable any person to act as Insurance Broker.

An Act to authorize the Comptroller of the Treasury to
adjust and settle the accounts due by Collectors, Sheriffs,
Clerks, Registers and other receivers of the public monies in
cases where the indebtedness accrued prior to the year 1866.

An Act to amend an Act passed at January session, 1865,
chapter 33, entitled an Act to provide bounty for soldiers
entering the service of the United States, to fill the quotas
of Maryland under the call of the President of the United
States, of the 19th of December, 1864, and under future calls,
by amending and re-enacting sections 4, 5 and 6, which were
repealed or intended to be repealed, by the Act of 1867,
chapter 156, and by adding a new section, and by changing
the numbering of section 9.

An Act to amend the 7th section of the 18th Article, of
the Code of Public General Laws, providing for the payment
of public monies by Clerks of Courts.

An Act to incorporate the Baltimore Ice Company,
