1868.] OF THE SENATE. 811 A bill entitled an Act to provide for an additional Justice of the Peace in District No. 2, (Quantico,) in Wicomico county. A bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act, to repeal the Act of 1865, chapter 174, entitled an Act relating to the regis- tration of the voters of the State, and to enact other provi- sions relating to the registration of voters in lieu thereof, chapter 336, passed March 13, 1867, and to enact other pro- visions relating to the registration of voters in lieu thereof. A bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 4 and 5, of the Act passed March 8, 1856, chapter 148, entitled an Act to incorporate the Kent County Rail Road Company, and to re-enact the same with amendments. A bill entitled an Act to authorize the Comptroller of the Treasury to adjust and settle the claims of the State's At- torneys in the several counties and city of Baltimore for cer- tain fees due by the State. A bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act of 1867, chap- ter 290, entitled an Act to add a new Article to the Code of Public General Laws, to be entitled Public Roads, and to re-enact the following sections in lieu thereof. A bill entitled an Act to authorize the Baltimore and Ohio Rail Road Company to lay a railroad track in certain streets in the city of Baltimore, and to make an appropria- tion for paying the expenses thereof on account of and for the interest of the Tobacco Fund. A bill entitled an Act for the relief of the suffering people of the South, through the agency of the Ladies' Southern Industrial Association and Ladies' Southern Relief Associa- tion of Baltimore city. A bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act of 1864, chapter 267, providing for a State subscription to Wingate's Mary- land Register, and to re-enact the same with amendments. A bill entitled an Act to amend an Act entitled an Act to amend the Act of I860, chapter 303, entitled an Act to carry into effect the 8th section of the Act entitled an Act for the promotion of internal improvements, passed at December session, 1835, chapter 395, by applying the unappropriated part of the appropriation made by said Act for the purposes of internal improvements in Worcester county, to the con- struction of the Worcester Rail Road and the Wicomico and Pocomoke Rail Road. A bill entitled an Act to release Thomas Jarrell and Emma Lowe from liabilities to the State, incurred by se- curityship on the bond of Alexander Knotts, of Caroline county. |
