Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates : House bill entitled an Act to amend the 21st section of Article 24 of the Code of Public General Laws, title Convey- ancing, sub-title Mortgages, by adding thereto and re-enact- ing as follows, Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. Browne, Maddox, Brewer, Miller, Clarke, Malone, Earle, Parker, of Calvert, Fields, Spates, Grove, Snyder, Henkle, Walsh, Lee, Welch—16. NEGATIVE—None. The bill was then returned to the House of Delegates. The following message was received from the House of Delegates: BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES, March 30,1868. Gentlemen of the Senate : We have received your message proposing the adjourn- ment of the present General Assembly at 12 o'clock, mid- night, this 30th day of March, and although this House would have preferred an adjournment sine die at an earlier hour, we respectfully concur in your message, and at that hour the House of Delegates will be adjourned sine die.
