The following message was sent to the House of Delegates: BY THE SENATE, March 30,1868- Gentlemen of the House of Delegates : We propose, with your concurrence, the appointment of a Joint Committee, to consist of two members of the Senate and three members of the House of Delegates, to wait upon his Excellency, the Governor, and inform him that the Gen- eral Assembly are ready to adjourn at 12 o'clock, midnight, and inquire of him whether he has any further communica- tion to make to them. We have appointed on the part of the Senate, Messrs. Spates and Earle. By order, A. GASSAWAY, Secretary. House bill entitled an Act to amend and re-enact the 176th section of the 93d Article of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled Testamentary Law, Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Henkle, Browne, Maddox, Brewer, Miller, Clarke, Malone, Carroll, Parker, of Calvert, Earle, Spates, Fields, Snyder, Grove, Walsh—16. NEGATIVE—None.
