House bill entitled an Act to add new sections to the Code of Public Local Laws for Baltimore city, Article 4, under the head of Tobacco, as amended and re-amended by the Acts of Assembly of 1864, chapter 346,1865, chapter 194, and 1867, chapter 368, Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Lee, Browne, Maddox, Brewer, Miller, Clarke, Malone, Carroll, Parker of Calvert, Denson, Spates, Earle, Snyder, Fields, Walsh, Hammond, Welch—18. NEGATIVE—None. Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates. The Clerk of the House of Delegates returned Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 2, of an Act passed March 21, 1867, chapter 329, entitled an Act to pro- vide for the selection, drawing and summoning of Jurors in the several counties, and prescribing their qualification, and re-enact the same. Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays." Also, Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate a company to construct a Turnpike Road from Williamsport, in Washing- ton county, to the Washington County Rail Road. Endorsed, "Passed byyeas and nays." On motion by Mr. Clarke, The Senate adjourned until 5 P. M. to-day. |
