On motion by Hammond, The vote by which House bill entitled an Act to increase the number of free scholarships in the Baltimore Female College, and to change the manner of appointing the beneficiaries and Board of Trus- tees, Was rejected, was reconsidered, And the bill passed by yeas and nays as follows : AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Hammond, Browne, Lee, Biggs, Miller, Brewer, Malone, Clarke, Spates, Earle, Smith, Henkle, Welch—14. NEGATIVE—None. And the bill returned to the House of Delegates.
