Biggs, Maddox, Brewer, Miller, Clarke, Malone, Carroll, Spates, Earle, Snyder, Fields, Smith, Kimmel, Welch—15. Lee, NEGATIVE—None. Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates. Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act of 1867, chapter 372, entitled an Act to further extend the time and provisions of the Act passed February 6, chapter 15, and March 14, 1864, chapter 373, and the sup- plements thereto, relating to the payment of bounties to volunteers and drafted men of this State, and to substitute therefor an Act to provide for the payment of additional bounty, Was read a third time and rejected by yeas and nays as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Malone, Denson, Parker, of Calvert, Henkle, Spates, Hyland, Walsh—9. Maddox, NEGATIVE. Messrs. Browne, Hammond, Biggs, Kimmel, Brewer, Lee, Clarke, Miller, Carroll, Snyder, Earle, Smith, Fields, Welch—14. On motion by Mr. Maddox, He was permitted to withdraw said bill from the files of the Senate.
