President, Hammond, Browne, Kimmel, Biggs, Lee, Brewer, Miller, Clarke, Spates, Grove, Walsh, Henkle, Welch—15. Hyland, NEGATIVE—None. Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates. Mr. Grove, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings, reported House bill entitled an Act to add an additional section to Article 42, of the Code of Public General Laws, empowering the Governor to remove insane convicts confined in the Pen- itentiary, and provide for their support in some suitable institution within the State. Which was read the second time. Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 49, of Article 88, of the Code of Public General Laws, title Sheriff, sub- title Collection of Officers' Fees, and to amend and re-enact the same with amendments, Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays as fol- lows : AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Hammond, Browne, Kimmel, Biggs, Lee, Brewer, Malone, Clarke, Spates, Earle, Smith, Fields, Walsh, Henkle, Welch—16. The bill was then sent to the House of Delegates. House bill joint resolution authorizing the State Librarian to furnish the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Charles county, and the Clerk of the Superior Court of Baltimore city, cer- tain reports therein named, for the use of said Courts, Was read a third time, and passed by yeas and nays as fol- lows : AFFIRMATIVE.
