The bill as amended was then passed by yeas and nays as
follows:

And sent to the House of Delegates.

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act to authorize
the payment to the Maryland and Delaware Rail Road Com-
pany and the Dorchester Bail Road Company, the sum of
thirteen thousand dollars, applied to the Choptank and Mis-
pillion. Rail Road Company by the Act of 1860, chapter 303,
according to the provisions of section 3 of said ACT, passed
on the 22d day of March, 1867, chapter 225, and re-enact
in lieu the following, which had been ordered to lie on the
table,

Was taken up on its second reading,
And indefinitely postponed.

Senate bill entitled a supplement to an Act of incorpora-
tion passed at December session, 1849, chapter 34,

Which had been ordered to lie on the table,
Was taken up on its third reading,
And indefinitely postponed.

Senate bill entitled an Act to amend an Act passed Janu-
ary session 1867, entitled an Act to repeal section 4, of chap.
3, of the Act of 1865, chapter 160, entitled school house sites
and section 1 of chapter 1, entitled sources of income, of the
Act of 1865, chapter 160, entitled an Act to add a new Arti-
cle to the Code of Public General Laws, to be entitled public
instruction, providing a uniform system of free public schools
for the State of Maryland, and to repeal all existing laws
inconsistent therewith, and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.

Which had been ordered to lie over,

Was taken up on its second reading, and indefinately post-
poned.
