728 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 2&,. House bill entitled an Act to amend Article 21 of the Code- of Public local Laws, entitled Washington county, by add- ing thereto further sections. Which was read the second time. Mr. Kimmel, from a select committee, reported favorably House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 20 of Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled Baltimore city, sub-title Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, and to re- enact the same with amendments. Which was read the second time. Also, reported favorably House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 939, Article 4, of the Public Local Laws, relating to Baltimore city, sub- title Water, as enacted by chapter 38 of the Act of the Gen- eral Assembly, passed at the January session, 1866, and to re-enact the said section, so as to read as follows. Which was read a second time. Mr. Hyland, from a select committee, reported An Act to repeal section 9 of Article 19 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title Somerset county, sub-title Alms- house, and enact the following in lieu thereof. Which was read a second time. Mr. Carroll, from a select committee, reported House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Commissioners of Howard county to subscribe to the capital stock of turn- pike roads in said county. Which was read a second time. Mr. Spates, from a select committee, reported favorably House bill entitled an Act to authorize the construction, of a bridge over the Potomac river, near the mouth of New Creek. Which was read a second time. Also, reported favorably from the Committee on Corpora- tions. House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Baltimore Dry Dock and Warehouse Company. Which was read the second time. Also, reported favorably House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Havre-de- Grace Ferry Company. Which was read the second time. Also, reported favorably |
