Mr. Maddox, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
to which was referred joint resolution requiring the Libra-
rian to furnish to the Circuit Court for Howard county cer-
tain law reports,

Reported without amendment.
Said resolution was then read a second time.
Mr. Carroll, from a select committee, reported favorably

House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 8, of Article 13,
of the Public Local Laws, entitled Howard county, sub-title
" County Commissioners," and to re-enact the same with
amendments.

Mr. Clarke, from a select committee, reported favorably

House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Woodberry
Manufacturing Company of Baltimore County.

Which was read a second time.

Mr. Earle, from the Committee on Finance, reported
favorably

House bill entitled an Act to grant donations for the use
of academies and schools in Wicomico county.

Which was read a second time.
Also, favorably

House bill entitled an Act supplementary to an Act
passed January 30, 1868, relating to the amount of sta-
tionery furnished to members and officers of the General
Assembly, and to provide a system of commutation, and to
add an additional section thereto.
Which was read a second time.

Mr. Spates, from the Committee on Corporations, reported
favorably

House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Frederick &
Williamsport Rail Road Company.

Which was read a second time.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates returned the follow-
ing Senate bills:

A bill entitled an Act to authorize and require the County
Commissioners of Baltimore county to convey a lot of ground
to the Board of School Commissioners of Baltimore county,
to be used for a public school house site.

Endorsed " Passed by yeas and Days."

A bill entitled an Act to refund to Francis T. Henry,
Clerk of the Circuit Court for Dorchester county, a certain
sum of money erroneously paid into the Treasury.
