A bill entitled an Act to provide for the removal of cases of guardianship and wardships from the Orphans' Court of the counties of Somerset and Worcester to the Orphans' Court of Wicomico county, and to provide for the sale of real estate by executors, and administrators resident in Wi- comico county, where such administration was commenced in either of the counties of Somerset or Worcester. Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays." A bill entitled an Act to provide for the appointment of a Commissioner of Slave Statistics for Wicomico county. Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays." A bill entitled an Act to repeal Article 36 af the Code of Public General Laws, and to enact a substitute therefor, and to repeal section 22 of Article 16, sections 99 to 103, of the same Article, and sections 33 to 43 of Article 88 of the Code of Public General Laws. Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays, with proposed amend- ments." Amendments proposed: Section 95, fill the blank with 170, 171, 172, 173, 174 and 175. Section 108, line 14, strikeout the word "ten," and insert the word eight. Section 109, line 6, strike out the word "ten," and insert the word eight. Every corporation incorporated under the laws of this State, which has the power to issue bonds as evi- dence of indebtedness, and to secure the same by mortgage of the property of such corporation, or which has the power to obtain money upon mortgage may, whenever in the judg- ment of said corporation it is expedient so to do, in place of issuing such bonds, and securing the same by a mortgage of the property of the said corporation, or instead of obtaining |
