Earle, Welch—14.

Mr. Compton offered the following amendment:

Chapter 13, section 9, line 3, strike out the words " State
Board of Education," and insert the words, Trustees of the
Normal School.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Earle offered the following amendment :
Strike out the word "primary," and insert the Public.
Which was adopted.
Mr. Smith offered the following amendment:

Page 38, chapter 13, section 11, line 2, after word "the,"
strike out the words "State Board of Education," and in-
sert Trustees of State Normal School.

Which was adopted.

On motion by Mr. Compton,
The Senate adjourned until to-morrow at 10 A. M.
