Mr. Compton offered the following :

Amend chapter 13, section 5, line 18, by striking out the

words "State Commissioner," and inserting in lieu thereof
"the words, Principal of the Normal School.

Which was adopted.
Mr. Earle offered the following amendment :

Page 37, section 7, line 1, strike out the word "State
Board," and insert in lieu thereof the words, Board of
'Trustees of the State Normal School.

Which was adopted.
Mr. Earle submitted the following amendment :

Section 8, after the words "Comptroller," insert the word,
to the Board of Trustees of the State Normal School.

Mr. Earle submitted the following amendment :

Section 8, line 3, strike out all after the word " and," to

the word " teacher," in the fifth line, and insert the words,
to be applied to the payment of.
Which was adopted.

Mr. Earle moved the Senate adjourn.
