delegations to introduce a bill to repeal section 40 of Article
11 of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled " Frederick
County," and to re-enact the same with amendments.
On motion of Mr. Herbert,
Leave was granted to the Washington county delegation
to introduce a bill changing the time for the appointment of
Trustees of the Poor of Washington county.
On motion of Mr. Maynard,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to intro-
duce a bill to refund to Abraham Grabill certain State taxes
erroneously paid into the Treasury.
On motion of Mr. Smith, of Worcester,
Leave was granted to the Worcester county delegation to
report a bill to protect deer in Worcester county.
On motion of Mr. Holloway,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Internal Im-
provements to report a bill entitled an Act authorizing the
Commissioners appointed under the Act of 1840, chapter
215, and its several supplements, to invest certain money
remaining in their hands.
On motion of Mr. Corbin,
Leave was granted to the Somerset delegation to introduce
a bill to repeal the 53d, 54th, 55th, 56th and 57th sections
of Article 19 of the Public Local Law of Somerset county,
relating to fences.
On motion of Mr. Williams,
Leave was granted to the Prince George's delegation to
introduce a bill requiring the County Commissioners of
Prince George's county to levy a sum of money to repair and
extend the bridge and abutments across the Eastern Branch,
at Bladensburg, leading to Washington.
On motion ol Mr. Smith, of Worcester,
Leave was granted to the "Worcester delegation to report a
bill to protect clams in the waters of Worcester county.
On motion of Mr. Dutrow,
Leave was granted to the Frederick county delegation to
report a bill for the protection of game within the limits of
Frederick county.
On motion of Mr. Wentz,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Education to in-
troduce a bill to increase the number of free scholarships in
the Baltimore Female College, and to change the manner of
appointing the beneficiaries and Board of Trustees,
On motion of Mr. Wentz,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to amend the charter of the Baltimore Fell's
Point Hebrew Friendship Congregation.
On motion of Mr. Smith, of Worcester,
Leave was granted to the Worcester and Somerset delega-
tions to report a bill to improve the Draw in the bridge
across the Pocomoke River, at Newtown, Worcester County.
