President, Biggs, Brewer, Clarke, Denson, Fields, Hyland, Hammond, Parker, of Calvert, Spates, Smith, Walsh, Welch—13. House bill entitled an Act supplementary to, and amenda- tory of an Act passed at the present session of the General Assembly of Maryland, entitled an Act to amend the charter of the Cumberland and Pennsylvania Rail Road Company, passed at January session 1849, chapter 469, Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Hyland, Browne, Hammond, Biggs, Lee, Brewer, Maddox, Clarke, Miller, Carroll, Parker, of Calvert, Denson, Spates, Earle, Smith, Fields, Walsh, Henkle, Welch—20. NEGATIVE—None. The bill was then returned to the House of Delegates. Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act of 1867, chap- ter 372, entitled an Act to farther extend the time and pro- visions of the Act passed February 6th, chapter 15, and, March 14th, 1864, chapter 373, ana the supplements thereto, relating to the payment of bounties to volunteers and drafted men of this State, Was read a third time and rejected by yeas and nays as follows: AFFIRMATIVE.
