Add additional section, after section 9, as follows, to be

SECTION 10. And be it enacted, That the Treasurer be, and
he is hereby, authorized, from the proceeds of any sales of
bonds which may be made under the provisions of this Act,
to reimburse the Treasury for such advances from the gene-
ral revenue accruing from taxes and other sources as have
been appropriated from time to time towards the payment of
bounties, the sum to be applied to the general wants of the
Treasury.

January session, 1867, entitled an Act to repeal sections 5
and 8 of an Act passed January session, 1804, chapter 15,
entitled an Act to aid and encourage enlistments into the
Maryland regiments in the service of the United States.
Endorsed, " Passed by yeas and naya."

House bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act passed 23d
of March, 1867, chapter 184, entitled an Act to repeal Arti-
cle 17 of the Code of Public General Laws of the State of
Maryland, entitled Oysters, and to re-enact the same with
amendments, and to enact the following in lieu thereof,

Was taken up.
Mr. Hammond offered the following amendments:

Section 2, line 5, after the word "State," strike out the
words "or in buying or selling oysters in this State.

Section 6, line 7, strike out the words "and all things,"
and insert the word and before the word "tackle" in same
line.
Which were adopted.
Mr. Grove offered the following amendment:

Amend section 6 by striking out in line 3, after the word
"misdemeanor," the whole of the line excepting the word
"upon" where it last occurs.
