House bill entitled an Act to amend an Act entitled an Act
to incorporate the Safe Deposit Company of Baltimore.

Which was read the second time.
Also, reported

Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for the collection of
taxes in Baltimore county.

Which was read the first time.

On motion by Mr. Clarke,
The rules were suspended by the following vote :

AFFIRMATIVE.

And the bill read a second time, and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.

Also, reported favorably

House bill entitled an Act to continue in force chapter 118
of the Laws of Maryland, passed at the January session, 1865,
entitled an Act to repeal section 146 of the 3d Article of the
Code of Public Local Laws, relating to the office of Register
of Wills for Baltimore county, and to re-enact the same with
amendments.

Which was read the second time.
Mr. Miller, from a select committee, reported favorably

House bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act entitled an Act
to regulate the issuing of license for the sale of spirituous or
fermented liquors within the borough of North East, in Cecil
county, paused at January session, 1864, chapter 348, and to
enact the following in lieu thereof.

Which was read the second time.

Leave of absence to the Assistant Postmaster was granted
for four days.

Mr. Browne, from the select committee, reported back
