Senate bill entitled an Act to amend Article 4 of the Code
of Public Local Laws, by adding thereto the following sections
relating to the inspection of artificial, manufactured, and
manipulated manures,

With the following amendments :

Section 7, add, that if the fees of said inspector exceed
$2,500 per annum, the excess shall be paid over to the State
Treasurer, in accordance with the provisions of the 15th Arti-
cle of the Constitution.

Add to section 8 the following :

The said Inspector shall be appointed by the Superinten-
dent of Labor and Agriculture, and shall give his bond in the
penal sum of $10,000, with security or securities, to be ap-
proved by said Superintendent, which bond shall be filed in
the office of the Clerk of the Court of Appeals.

Which were adopted, and

The bill, as amended, read a second time, and ordered to
be engrossed for a third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 158, 159, 160,
161, 162, 163, 164, 165, 166, 167, 168, 169, 170, 171, 172,
173, 174, 175, 176, 177, 118, 179, 180, 181, 182, 183, 184,
185, 186, 187, 188) 189, 190, 191, and 192 of Article 3 of
the Code of Public Local Laws, sub-title Schools, and sec-
tions 158, 159, 160, and 161 of Article 3 of the supplement
to the Code of Public Local Laws, sub-title Schools, 'and to
re-enact the same with amendments,

Was read a second time, and ordered to been grossed for a
third reading.

Mr. Grove, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported favorably

House bill entitled an Act to amend and re-enact the 167th
section of the 93d Article of the Code of Public General
Laws, entitled Testamentary Law.

Which was read the second time.
Also, reported unfavorably
The House bill relating to Religious Corporations.

Mr. Clarke moved that the report be amended by substi-
tuting the bill in lieu thereof.

Which was determined in the affirmative by yeas and nays-
