Be it enacted by the General assembly of Maryland, That
the following section be added to Article 56 of the Code of
Public Local Laws, entitled " Licenses."

In the next section, in the first line, strike out all words
before the word " any," so that the section will read, any '
trader who has taken out license, &c., &c.

Strike out the title and substitute the following :

A bill entitled an Act to add an additional section to Article
56 of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled " Licenses,"
so as to empower a trader to sell the license to trade with
the stock of goods.

The amendments were concurred in,

And the bill as amended was then passed by yeas and
nays as follows:

Clarke, Miller,
Carroll, Parker, of Calvert,

NEGATIVE—None.

A bill entitled an Act to authorize the Comptroller of the
Treasury to adjust and settle the accounts due by Collectors,
Sheriffs, Clerks, Registers and other receivers of the public
moneys in cases where the indebtedness accrued prior to the
year 1866.

Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays."

A bill entitled an Act to add to the 11th section of Ar-
ticle 56 of the Code of Public General Laws a sub-section re-
quiring license to enable any person to act as insurance
brokers.
Endorsed, " Passed by yeas and nays."

A bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Commis-
sioners of Queen Anne's county to levy a sum of money or
issue bonds for repairing and altering the Court House in
said county.

Endorsed, " Passed by yeas and nays."

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 3 of Article 33 of
the Code of Public General Laws, relating to indigent blind,
and to re-enact the same with amendments.

Endorsed, " Passed by yeas and nays."
