1868.] OF THE SENATE. 569 Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Hammond, Browne, Kimmel, Biggs, Lee. Clarke, Miller, Carroll, Malone, Fields, Parker, of Calvert, Grove, Spates, Henkle, Snyder, Hyland, Walsh—18 NEGATIVE—None. The bill was then seat to the House of Delegates. Mr. Grove, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings, reported favorably House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 16, of Article 11, of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled Attorneys at Law and Attorneys in Fact, and to re-enact the same with amendments. Which was road the second time. Also, Reported Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize and em- power the County Commissioners of the respective counties of the State to purchase from Abner Campbell, a patent for a general index book, and to levy a sum sufficient to pay for the same. Which was read the first time. Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate a company to construct a Turnpike Road from Williamsport, in Washing- ton county, to the Washington county Rail Road, Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays as follows: AFFIRMATIVE.
