1868.] OF THE SENATE. 563 Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower the Register of Wills for Worcester county, to grant orders of sale in the recess of the Orphans' Court, Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays as fol- lows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Hammond, Browne, Kimmel, Biggs, Lee, Brewer, Miller, Clarke, Malone, Carroll, Parker, of Calvert, Earle, Spates, Fields, Snyder, Grove, Welch—19. Hyland, NEGATIVE—None. The bill was then sent to the Houge of Delegates. Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act of 1864, chap- ter 267, providing for a State subscription to Wingate's Mary- land Register ; and to re-enact the same with amendments, Was read a third time, and passed by yeas and nays as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Hyland, Browne, Hammond, Biggs, Kimmel, Brewer, Lee, Clarke, Miller, Carroll, Malone, Earle, Parker, of Calvert, Fields, Spates; Grove, Snyder, Henkle, Welch—20. NEGATIVE—None. The bill was then sent to the House of Delegates. House bill entitled an Act to legalize "A supplement to the Maryland Code containing the Acts of the General As- sembly passed at the sessions of 1861, 1861-62, 1864, 1865. 1866, and 1867, arranged in articles and sections to correspond with the Code by Lewis Mayer, and to appropriate a sum of money to purchase copies of the same, and to regulate their distribution, Was taken up. |
