a bill to extend the time limited by chapter 365, passed at

the January session 1867, entitled an Act for the benefit of
the Library Company of the Baltimore Bar.

On motion by Mr. Earle,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Finance to report
a bill to appropriate the sum of two hundred dollars to sup-
ply port folios and have repairs made in the office of the
Commissioner of the Land Office.

On motion by Mr. Earle,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Finance, to report
a bill to refund James Ensor, fifty dollars erroneously paid
into the Treasury of the State.

Mr. Earle, from the Committee on Finance, reported
favorably

House bill entitled an Act to appoint certain persons there-
in named as Commissioners, to purchase a site and contract
for the erection of a court house and jail in the town of Salis-
bury, the county seat of Wicomico county, and for other pur-
poses therein mentioned, relating thereto.

Which was read the second time.

House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor, Alder-
men, and Common Council of Frederick to subscribe to the
capital stock of the Frederick and Pennsylvania Line Rail
Road Company, and to endorse the bonds of said company,

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as

follows:
