Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates. Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 153, passed January 1867, entitled an Act to add an additional section to Article 30, of the Code of Public General Laws, relating to Crimes and Punishments, and to re-nact the same with amendments, Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Hammond, Browne, Lee, Biggs, Malone, Brewer, Parker, of Calvert, Carroll, Spates, Earle, Snyder, Fields, Smith, Grove, Walsh, Henkle, Welch—19. Hyland, NEGATIVE—None. Mr. Henkle moved to reconsider the vote by which the- above bill was passed. Which was lost. The bill was then sent to the House of Delegates. House bill entitled an Act to authorize and require Hanson Willison, late Sheriff of Allegany county, to convey certain real estate situated in Grantsville, in said county, as in said Act provided, Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays as fol- lows : AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Hammond, Browne, Lee, Biggs, Parker, of Calvert,. Brewer, Spates, Earle, Snyder, Fields, Smith, Henkle, Walsh, Hyland, Welch—16. |
