Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the President, Managers and Company of the Baltimore and York Town Turnpike Road to run the cars for carrying passengers on the Sabbath day, Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Henkle, The bill was then sent to the House of Delegates. On motion by Mr. Carroll, Mr. Kimmel was granted leave of absence for one day. House bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 137, 138, 139, 140, and 141, of chapter 252, of the Laws of Maryland, passed January session, 1867, entitled an Act to repeal the 37th, 38th, 39th and 40th sections of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled Licenses, and substitute in lieu thereof the following sections, Was taken up, and On motion by Mr. Snyder, The vote by which the amendment to said bill was adopted, Was reconsidered.
