The Clerk of the House of Delegates delivered House bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower the County Commissioners of Cecil and Kent counties to build a bridge over Sassafras river, from Fredericktown, in Cecil county, to Georgetown, in Kent county, and to levy a sum of money for the same. Which was read the first time, and referred to the Sena- tors from Kent, Harford and Cecil. Also, delivered House bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act of 1867, chap- ter 366, entitled an Act making appropriations for the sup- port of the Government for the year ending on the first day of January, 1869, and to substitute the following in lieu thereof. Which was read the first time and referred to the Com- mittee on Finance. Also, delivered House bill entitled an Act to repeal sec- tions 76 and 77, of Article 35, title "Elections," of the , Code of Public General Laws, and to enact a section in lieu thereof regulating the time of the election of Representatives in Congress of this State. Which was read a first time and referred to the Commit- tee on Elections. Also, returned Senate bill entitled a supplement to an Act entitled an Act to incorporate the Baltimore and Havana Steamship Com- pany, passed at January session, in the year 1866, chapter 54.
