The bill was then sent to the House of Delegates.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 210 of Article
10 of the Public Local Laws of Dorchester county, and to re-
enact the following in lieu thereof,

Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays as fol-
lows:

AFFIRMATIVE.

Messrs. President, Hyland,
Browne, Hammond,
Biggs, Kimmel,
Brewer, Lee,
Carroll, Miller,
Denson, Malone,
Earle, Snyder,
Fields, Smith,
Grove, Walsh,
Henkle, Welch—20.

NEGATIVE—None.
The bill was then returned to the House of Delegates.

Senate bill entitled an Act to prevent the spread of pleura
pneumonia and other contagious diseases among cattle in this
State,

Was taken up, and
Mr. Henkle offered the following amendments :

Section 2, line 2, after "same," insert, knowing the ani-
mal to be diseased.

Section 2, line 3, after "cow" insert so diseased.
Section 2, line 3, strike out diseased.
Which were adopted.
Mr. Walsh offered the following amendments :

Amend section 1, line 5, add, or competent physician of
the neighborhood.

Section 3, line 2, after the word surgeon, insert the words,
or competent physician of the neighborhood.
