Mr. Malone, from a select committee, reported

Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for an additional
Justice of the Peace in District No. 2, (Quantico,) in Wi-
comico county.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Hyland, from the Committee on Corporations, re-
ported

Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Baltimore
and Swann Lake Passenger Railway Company.

Which was read the first time.
Also, reported

Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Com-
missioners of Frederick county to subscribe to the capital
stock and endorse the mortgage bonds of the Western Mary-
land Rail Road Company, the Frederick and Emmittsburg
Rail Road Company, the Frederick and Pennsylvania Line
Rail Road Company, and the Frederick and Williamsport,
Rail Road Company.

Which was read the first time.
The Clerk of the House of Delegates returned

Senate bill entitled an Act to endow the St. Mary's Female-
Seminary.

Endorsed "Passed by yeas and nays."

A bill entitled an Act to repeal certain portions of the Act
of 1860, chapter 303 of the General Assembly of Maryland,
relating to the Columbia and Port Deposit Rail Road Com-
pany.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Com-

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Chesnut Summit;
Avenue Company.
