Senate bill entitled an Act to amend an Act passed at the session of the General Assembly of Maryland, held in the year 1860, entitled an Act to ilcorporate the Bare Hill Mining Company, Was read a second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. House bill entitled an Act to incorporate a Company to open and improve the road from Frederick city, in Frederick coun- ty, to the Spout spring, on the Hamburg road, passing Brad- rup's saw mill, passed at January session, 1860, of the Gene- ral Assembly of Maryland, chapter 267, Which had been ordered to lie on the table, Was taken up, Read a third time and passed by yeas and nays as fol- lows : AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Kimmel, Biggs, Lee, Brewer, Maddox, Clarke, Parker, of Worcester, Carroll, Snyder, Denson, Smith, Earle, Welch—15. Hyland, NEGATIVE—None. The bill was then returned to the House of Delegates. On motion by Mr. Grove, The Senate bill of Drafts of Laws on Corporations was con- tinued on its second reading from section 217. Mr. Clarke offered the following amendment : By striking out from and including section 218, to and in- cluding section 240, relating to the formation of Railroad Corporations. Which was adopted. Mr. Grove offered the following amendments : Amend section 2, line 12, by striking out the word "five," |
