Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 98 of Article
4 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "City of Baltimore,"
sub-title Auctions, and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

Mr. Grove, from the Committee on Judicial proceedings,
reported

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 2 of an Act
passed March 21, 1867, chapter 329, entiled an Act to provide
for the selection, drawing and summoning of jurors in the sev-
eral counties, and prescribing their qualification, and re-enact
the same with amendments.

Which was read the first time.

Senate bill entitled an Act to widen and improve the pub-
lic roads in Wicomico county,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the president,
managers and company of the Baltimore & Yorktown Turn-
pike Road to run the cars for conveying passengers on the
Sabbath day, commonly called Sunday,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to amend the 7th section of
Article 45, of the Code of Public General Laws, title " Hus-
band and Wife," and to re-enact the same with amendments,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Com-
missioners of Calvert county to subscribe in behalf of said
county to the capital stock of the Baltimore and Drum Point
Rail Road Company, and to issue bonds for that purpose,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a.
third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to appoint a Visitor to the
Maryland Hospital for Wicomico county,

Was read a second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to prevent the sale of intoxi-
cating liquors within three miles of the village of Dames-
town, Montgomery county, Md.,

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.
