Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 156, passed
January session, 1867, entitled an Act to repeal sections 5
and 8 of an Act passed January session, 1864, chapter 15,
entitled an Act to aid and encourage enlistments into the
Maryland Regiments in the service of the United States ; and
also to repeal sections 4 and 5 of an Act passed January ses-
sion, 1865, chapter 33, entitled an Act to provide bounty for
soldiers entering the service of the United States to fill the
quotas of Maryland, under the call of the President of the
United States, of December, 1864, and under future calls,

Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays as
follows:

AFFIRMATIVE.

Biggs, Kimmel,
Brewer, Lee,
Carroll, Maddox,
Denson, Snyder,
Earle, Smith,
Fields, Welch—15.
Grove,

NEGATIVE—None.

The bill was then sent to the House of Delegates.

session, 1865, chapter 33, entitled an Act to provide bounty
for soldiers entering the service of the United States, to fill
the quotas of Maryland, under the call of the President of
the United States of 19th December, 1864, and under future
calls, by amending and re-enacting sections 4, 5, and 6,
which were repealed, or intended to be repealed, by the Act
of 1867, chapter. 156,

Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays as
follows:
