1868.] OF THE SENATE. 479 Senate bill entitled an Act to extend the time limited by the Act of 1867, chapter 189, section 6, for producing and perpetuating the evidence of the ownership of slaves, so far as the same relates to citizens of Dorchester county, Was read a second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. Senate bill entitled an Act to amend the 18th Article of the Code of Public General Laws, relating to Clerks of Courts, by adding a section thereto, imposing an additional duty on the Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas, in regard to public money received by him, Was read a second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 810 of Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws, relating to the city of Baltimore, and chapter 367, passed at the January session, 1867, and re-enact the same with amendments, Was considered, and On motion by Mr. Snyder, Was ordered to lie upon the table. Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Balti- more and North Point Turnpike Road Company, Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Com- missioners of Frederick and Baltimore counties to aid in con- stracting turnpike roads in their respective counties, Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. Mr. Fields from a select committee, reported Senate bill entitled an Act to amend Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws, by adding thereto the following aeo- tions relating to the inspection of Guanos of artificial manu- facture, and of manipulated manures. Which was read a first time. Senate bill entitled and Act to incorporate the Provident Life and Trust Company of Baltimore, Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 4 of Article 91, of the Code of Public General Laws, and to substitute the following in lieu thereof, to read as section 4, Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. |
