Senate bill entitled an Act prohibiting the sale of spir-
ituous or fermented liquors in District No. 2, commonly
called Dames' Quarter District, Somerset county, Maryland.

Which was read the first time.
Also, reported favorably from a select committee

House bill entitled an Act to provide for a Public Ferry,
at Rehoboth, in Somerset county, Maryland.

Which was read the second, time.

Mr. Hyland, from the Committee on Corporations, re-
ported favorably

House bill entitled a supplement to the Act entitled an
Act to incorporate a company to build a Turnpike road from
Liberty town, Frederick county, through Johnsville to Pipe
creek, passed January session, 1864, chapter 338.

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Grove, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act, to repeal the
Act of 1865, chapter 174, entitled an Act relating to the Reg-
istration of the Voters of the State, and to enact other provi-
sions relating to the Registration of Voters in lieu thereof,
chapter 336, passed March 13th, 1867, and to enact other
provisions relating to the Registration of Voters in lieu there-
of.

Which was read the first time.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 74,75, 76, 77
and 78, of Article 75, of the Code of Public General Laws,
entitled Pleadings, Practice and Process, sub-title Removal
of Causes, as amended, by the Act of Assembly, 1865, chapter
187, and to enact the following substitutes therefor,

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as
follows:
AFFIRMATIVE.
