President, Henkle, Biggs, Hammond, Brewer, Kimmel, Carroll, Miller, Earle, Spates, Fields, Snyder, Grove, Welch—14. NEGATIVE—None. Mr. Earle, from the Committee on Finance, reported fa- vorably, A bill entitled an Act to amend sections 146 and 147 of the 81st Article of the Code of Public General Laws, relating to the payment of public moneys by Clerks and Registers of Wills. Which was read a first time. Also, A bill entitled an Act to amend the 7th section of the 18th Article of the Code of Public General Laws, providing for the payment of public moneys by Clerks of Courts. Which was read a first time. Also, A bill entitled an Act to refund to B. B. Bush, late collec- tor of State taxes in Baltimore county, monies erroneously paid into the State Treasury by him in the years 1864, 1865 and 1866. Which was read a first line. Also, House bill entitled an Act to amend the charter of the Philadelphia, Wilmington and Baltimore Rail Road Com- pany. Which was read a second time. Mr. Henkle, from a special committee, reported favorably Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act of 1867, chap- ter 372, entitled an Act to further extend the time and pro- visions of the Act passed February 6th, chapter 15, and March 14th, 1864, chapter 373, and the supplements there- to, relating to the payment of bounties to volunteers and drafted men of this State, and to substitute therefore an Act to provide for the payment of additional bounty. |
