Ordered, that the words "ten per centum" be substituted.
in sections 108, 109 and 110, in lieu of "eight per centum."

Mr. Grove offered the following :

Amend by striking out section 117, and insert in lieu there-
of the following, as section 217 :

No Railroad or Mining Company nor any agent or em-
ployee of such corporation formed or organized under any
of the provisions of this State, or which have organized under
any existing Laws, Charter or Act of the General Assembly

of this State, shall own, conduct, or carry on any store or
have any interest in any store, or receive any portion of the
profits thereof; nothing herein contained, however, shall pre-

vent the employees of any corporation from forming co-opera-
tive stores.

Which was adopted.
Mr. Carroll offered the following amendment :

Section 109, line 9, insert after the word specified, "and
approved."

Which was adopted.
Mr. Grove offered the following" amendment :

Amend byadding the present section of 217, so as to make
the same read as section 218.

Which was adopted,

And the bill as amended was read the second time and
ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.

On motion by Mr.Snyder,

The vote by which the Senate bill of drafts of laws on Cor-
porations,

Was ordered to be engrossed for a third reading,
Was reconsidered,

And the bill ordered to lie over, the second reading having
been stopped at the 217th section inclusive.

On motion by Mr. Kimmel,

Senate bill relating to process against non-resident infant
defendants,

Which was returned by the House of Delegates, yesterday,

endorsed "passed by yeas and nays, with proposed amend-
ments."

And ordered to lie over,
Was taken up, and said amendments concurred in,
