Mr. Fields, from a select Committee, reported Senate bill entitled an Act to authorise the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Caroline county, to purchase a book and to index the land records of said county. Which was read a first time. On motion by Mr. Maddox, The vote by which the Prince George's Huckster bill was rejected, Was reconsidered, And the bill was recommitted to the Committee on Judicial Proceedings. House bill entitled an Act to repeal sec. 619, of Art. 4, of the Public Local Laws, entitled city of Baltimore, sub-title Justices of the Peace and Constables, and to substitute the following in lieu thereof, Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Henkle, Browne, Hyland, Biggs, Malone, Brewer, Spates, Clarke, Snyder, Denson, Walsh, Earle, Welch—14. NEGATIVE—None. The bill was then returned to the House of Delegates. Senate bill entitled an Act to add an additional Article to the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, to be entitled "Commission Merchants," relative to their responsibilities for boxes, bags, baskets, chests and barrels in which fruit or vegetables may be sent to them, Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal sec. 69, of Art. 1, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Allegany county, sub-title Fences, and to re-enact the same with amendments, Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as follows: AFFIRMATIVE.
